Summer Art Camp begins June 27 !  Join us Tuesday through Thursday from 9 am to 11:30 am.  Your 5-12 year old artist may come for just one day or spend the whole summer with us.  Tuesday is Clay Day, Wednesday is Paint-A-Palooza, Thursday is Mixed Media. Projects vary depending on the theme of the week and every day is different.

10-10:10          Snack Break - we provide pretzels and                               ice water, however, campers are welcome to  bring their preferred      peanut free food and drink. 

10:10-11:20      Finish project

11:20-11:30      Clean up and Art Show (Art games, too!)

11:30               Pick-up

Week 1: June 27, 28, 29 - Sea Isle Rocks Week (Spreading kindness through art)

Week 2: July 4, 5, 6 - Red, White, and You!  

Week 3: UPDATE: Tues., July 11 camp is full.  July 11, 12, 13 - Turtles (and other Swampy Critters).  We will be making art inspired by the July 15 Third Annual Turtle Parade.  Make art, then join our friends from the Sea Isle Terrapin Rescue organization on Saturday morning July 15 to release rescued terrapins into the bay.  Location Change:  The Turtle Parade and Release will start under the white tents at Dealy Field in Sea Isle City.  Access to the bay is better from this location and there will be less stress for turtles...and humans!  9:30-10 am Turtle Crafts and Facepainting / 10-10:30 am  Q & A with The Turtle Whisperers (Sue and Steve Ahern), plus Meet the Turtles / 10:30-10:45  Parade to the Bay, name and release the turtles

Week 4: July 18, 19, 20 -  "Build Your Own World" Week - Back by popular demand, we will spend this week designing and building.  Budding architects and inventors will spend Thursday in our popular Mixed Media Build-A-Thon!

Week 5: July 25, 26, 27 - Magical and Mythological - Beasts and Fairies Week.  We will imagine our own pet magical creature and bring it to life through art!  Local and international myths and fairy tales will be a source of inspiration.

Week 6: August 1, 2, 3 - Fur, Feathers, and Fins Week (Bring a picture of your pet or favorite animal on Wednesday for our Pet/Animal  Portrait painting.  Don't have one?  Don't worry!  We have lots of pictures to aid your imagination.)  Touch a sharkskin!  Touch a snakeskin! Touch a red fox pelt!  We will have lots of examples of fur, feathers, and fins this week.

Week 7: August 8, 9 10 - Candyland Week (We listened!  We are running this theme again but with all new projects because, well, it was popular.)

Week 8: August 15, 16, 17 - Third Annual "Artists Who Changed the World" Week.  Learn about little known people who used their creativity to make the world a better place.  Everyone has greatness within themselves!
